So sorry to hear about your Mother Cara thinking of youXx
Suzanne’s laughter and her jovial nature brightened our days and evenings at boarding school. She was always kind and saw the good in everyone. The last time I spoke to Suzi was via text, inviting her and her family to the coast for some respite from the severe drought. After that, I flicked the TV channel one day and watched in awe as Suzi lit up the screen as she confidently represented and voiced the concerns and hardships of Coonamble and other NSW farming communities. Suzi is an example of a girl who was underestimated but the phoenix in her rose out of the ashes and inspired people everywhere.
I’ll miss you my friend, but the memories we shared are clear as the sound of your laughter filling our dormitories and classrooms. Your legacy will live on through your girls and in the townsfolk you helped.
